KMPShip Reviews

Flavien Norindr
I don't want to spend countless hours on setup and configuration every time I start a new app. KMPShip gave me a production-ready foundation without all the setup headaches. It easily saved me 50+ hours. Now I focus on what actually matters: building my app.
KMPShip FAQs
Which language is used?
Kotlin is the language. It is the official language for Android. With Kotlin Multiplatform, you can build Android and iOS apps from one codebase. You do not need to write Swift or Objective-C.
And what about the UI framework?
KMPShip uses Jetpack Compose. It is the official UI toolkit for Android. Compose Multiplatform works on both Android and iOS with one codebase. You do not need to write SwiftUI or use separate UI layers.
Does everything need to be in the shared code when using KMPShip?
No. You choose what to share. KMPShip lets you keep parts of your code in the shared module. You can implement other parts directly in Android or iOS code. You can also skip Compose Multiplatform if you want native UIs.
Can I use Swift and SwiftUI in my project?
Yes. You can decide which parts of your app to implement with Swift and SwiftUI. KMPShip allows you to mix native code with shared logic. Use SwiftUI where it fits best.
What do I get exactly?
